Convoy of Compassion and Hope

Under the project ‘Convoy of compassion and hope’, students of class V were shown a video on community service- sensitizing them to the needs, novel ways of community service. The importance of empathizing with the poor, senior citizens and sick and people with disabilities was also highlighted. Students discussed and shared their views on how they could contribute to the cause at their level by being ready to lend the selfless help to others. They realized that community service is not to be forced by others but has to be taken up as a responsibility.
